System introduction

SCADA system is a kind of distributed three-remote system combined with  international advanced microcomputer technology, network technology, communication technology, and measurement and control technology, aiming to achieve long-distance monitoring control and data acquisition. SCADA system refers to supervisory control and data acquisition system.

Through real-time monitoring on oil field automatic production during the whole process, SCADA system makes wellhead covered by built or to-be-built information network so as to achieve real-time well data transmission and seamless information network connection. Thus information center integrated with oil field production management and monitoring would be gradually established, and integration solution on well pattern monitoring and production scheduling management would be formed.

System structure

SCADA system is composed of field control layer, monitor layer and system management layer.

Field control layer is the basic element to achieve SCADA functions. It is composed of multiple RTUs or PLCs. Each RTU is an independent subsystem, responsible for data collection and control of the local I/O points. As the core of SCADA system, monitor layer runs SCADA software and is responsible for centralized monitoring on on-site measure and control unit and system configuration, management and maintenance. System management layer is used for data storage and data analysis.
